Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of the myShuko marketplace at myshuko.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Marketplace role

myShuko provides tools for users to publish listings, discover products and services, exchange messages, and submit inquiries. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, transactions are arranged directly between buyers and sellers. Users are responsible for evaluating listings, counterparties, price, condition, legality, safety, delivery, and payment terms before completing a transaction.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your authentication credentials secure, and promptly update information that becomes inaccurate. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not impersonate another person, access another user's account, or bypass access restrictions.

4. Listings and user content

You retain responsibility for content you submit. You grant myShuko permission to host, reproduce, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate and present the service. You represent that you have the rights required to submit the content and that the content is accurate and lawful.

You may not publish or transmit:

• illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, or discriminatory content;
• items or services whose sale or provision is prohibited by applicable law;
• content that infringes privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
• malware, spam, automated bulk messages, or attempts to disrupt the service; or
• personal information about another person without a lawful basis to share it.

5. Communications and transactions

Use marketplace communications only for legitimate interactions related to listings. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their agreements, payments, taxes, delivery, returns, warranties, required permits, and compliance with applicable law. Do not send money or disclose sensitive information unless you have independently verified the other party and the transaction.

6. Moderation and access

myShuko may unpublish or remove content, restrict functionality, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to operate or secure the service, comply with law, or address a violation of these terms. Administrative action does not transfer responsibility for user content or transactions to myShuko.

7. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party authentication, email, and mapping services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply when you interact with them. myShuko does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent operation.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. myShuko does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every listing is accurate, or that a buyer or seller will complete a transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, myShuko is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from user content, communications, transactions, third-party services, or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
